Janel (she / her) is a Creative Producer currently based in Gadigal Country / Sydney. Born in colonial per-handover Hong Kong, raised in the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri, Kulin Nation, Janel is ever exploring the fluidity of connection to place, identities and time. She is interested in bridging parallel worlds and creating imaginary ones. She specialises in content creation, storytelling and creating meaningful experiences with diverse communities. She has worked across the arts sector in curation and public programming from festivals both in Hong Kong and Melbourne as well as galleries, museums and conferences statewide for the last 15 years. She has a MA in Arts Management from the University of Melbourne and is a fluent speaker in Cantonese and English.
